Impact Mechanics — Top Two Knuckles & Fist Angle

Top Two Knuckles Strike using the index and middle knuckles. These are the strongest alignment of the hand and wrist, giving you maximum support and reducing injury risk.

45‑Degree Fist Angle Turn the fist slightly (about 45 degrees) as you punch. This keeps the wrist straight, lines up the top knuckles with the forearm, and helps the punch land cleanly on the centreline.

Front Double Punch —

Step 1 — Stance Stand in a balanced fighting stance with hands up and eyes forward.

Step 2 — Chamber Pull both fists to your guard. Elbows in, shoulders relaxed.

Step 3 — Extend Punch the lead hand first, followed immediately by the rear hand. Both punches travel straight down the centreline.

Step 4 — Impact Strike with the first two knuckles. Keep wrists straight and guard tight.

Step 5 — Retract Snap both hands back to your guard quickly. Return to stance, ready for the next movement.
