Heightened Awareness Stance — Hands Down (Orange)

Step 1 — Position

  • Stand relaxed with feet shoulder‑width apart.

  • Weight evenly distributed, knees soft.

Step 2 — Hands Down

  • Arms hang naturally at your sides.

  • Palms open, non‑threatening posture.

Step 3 — Awareness

  • Chin level, eyes scanning.

  • Track movement without turning the whole body.

Step 4 — Readiness

  • Core engaged, hips loose.

  • Subtle forward lean to prepare for movement.

Step 5 — Transition

  • Ready to step, angle, or raise the guard instantly.

  • Maintain calm, controlled breathing.
