Forward Soft Break Fall to a Wall —
Step 1 — Start in a Safe, Balanced Position Stand facing the wall with enough space to fall forward safely. Keep your knees soft and your core engaged.
Step 2 — Initiate the Forward Fall Lean your body forward under control. Allow gravity to take you down, but keep your movement smooth and relaxed.
Step 3 — Hands Out to Absorb the Impact Place your palms on the wall before your body reaches it. Keep your elbows slightly bent to absorb the force safely. Do not lock your arms.
Step 4 — Soft Contact With Forearms and Body Let your forearms and chest make light contact with the wall. This spreads the impact across a larger surface area, reducing pressure.
Step 5 — Keep Your Head Safe Tuck your chin slightly and keep your head away from the wall by facing to the side.
Step 6 — Control Your Descent Use your hands and forearms to slow the fall. Your feet stay behind you, ready to stabilise your body.
Step 7 — Recover to Standing Push gently off the wall and return to a balanced stance. Keep your hands up as you step back.
Step 8 — Scan Look around your environment for safety, exits, or additional movement. Stay balanced and aware.
