Fighting Stance — Outlet Stance

Step 1 — Base

  • Feet shoulder‑width apart, strong and balanced.

  • Lead foot forward, rear foot angled slightly outward.

Step 2 — Weight

  • Weight distributed 60/40 toward the rear leg.

  • Knees soft, heels light, ready to move.

Step 3 — Upper Body

  • Hands up in a natural guard.

  • Elbows tucked, shoulders relaxed.

  • Chin down, eyes forward.

Step 4 — Alignment

  • Hips and shoulders angled toward the opponent.

  • Core engaged, spine neutral.

Step 5 — Readiness

  • Stay mobile on the balls of your feet.

  • Prepared to step, strike, defend, or disengage instantly.
