Downward Vertical Hammer Punch —
Step 1 — Stance Stand in a balanced fighting stance with hands up and eyes forward.
Step 2 — Chamber Raise your fist above your shoulder or beside your head. Keep the wrist straight and the fist tight.
Step 3 — Lift & Drop Engage your core and lift the elbow slightly. Use your body weight to drive the strike downward.
Step 4 — Impact Drop the fist straight down in a vertical hammer motion. Strike with the bottom of the closed fist (hammer surface). Aim for the nose, collarbone, or upper back depending on the scenario.
