Standing Guard (Red) — Blade‑Hand Guard (One‑Hand & Two‑Hand)

Step 1 — Stance

  • Feet shoulder‑width, strong base.

  • Weight slightly forward, ready to move.

Step 2 — One‑Hand Blade Hand

  • Lead hand forms a blade‑hand and extends forward.

  • Elbow slightly bent, palm angled outward.

  • Rear hand stays close to the body for protection.

Step 3 — Two‑Hand Blade Hand

  • Both hands form blade‑hands.

  • Lead hand forward, rear hand guarding the centreline.

  • Shoulders relaxed, elbows tucked.

Step 4 — Guard Position

  • Chin down, eyes locked on the threat.

  • Hands positioned to intercept, deflect, or strike.

  • Core tight, hips square.

Step 5 — Readiness

  • Maintain controlled breathing.

  • Prepared to step, angle, strike, or disengage instantly.
