Forward Vertical Hammer Punch —
Step 1 — Stance Stand in a balanced fighting stance with hands up and eyes forward.
Step 2 — Chamber Raise your fist beside your head or shoulder. Keep the wrist straight and the fist tight.
Step 3 — Drive Forward Step or shift your weight slightly forward. Bring your hips and shoulders into the strike for power.
Step 4 — Impact Drop the fist straight down in a vertical hammer motion. Strike with the bottom of the closed fist (hammer surface). Aim for the nose, collarbone, or upper chest depending on the scenario.
