Backward Horizontal Hammer Punch —
Step 1 — Stance Stand in a balanced fighting stance with hands up and eyes forward.
Step 2 — Chamber Bring your fist close to your chest or shoulder. Keep the wrist straight and the fist tight.
Step 3 — Rotate Turn your hips and shoulders backward toward the target. This rotation generates the power for the strike.
Step 4 — Impact Drive the fist horizontally behind you. Strike with the bottom of the closed fist (hammer surface). Aim for targets behind you such as the jaw, ribs, or torso.
