Backward Horizontal Elbow — 

Step 1 — Stance Stand in a balanced fighting stance with hands up and eyes forward.

Step 2 — Chamber Bring the elbow back slightly, hand near your chest or shoulder. Keep your core tight and your guard high.

Step 3 — Rotate Turn your hips and shoulders backward toward the target. This rotation generates the power for the strike.

Step 4 — Impact Drive the elbow horizontally behind you. Strike with the sharp forearm edge of the elbow, not the point. Aim for targets behind you such as the jaw, ribs, or torso.

Step 5 — Retract
