Civilian CCL1 Instructor Course

Level 1 Close Combat Instructor Course

Entry Requirements

To register for this course, you will need to meet one of the following entry requirements:

  • Achieved at least a Level 1 Section 3 Grade with the ICCA.
  • Passed a Qualifying Course with the ICCA.
  • Have suitable experience in a combat system or martial art.
  • Are or have been a member of the armed forces with experience in a combat system or martial art.

If you’re unsure, simply fill out the application form with as much detail as possible.

Course Details

The course is divided into three sections, each spanning two days. The first two days serve as an adjustment period to ensure candidates are comfortable continuing through days three to six. If a candidate decides not to continue, an equal pro-rata refund will be provided.

Days one and two are scheduled over a Saturday and Sunday, with a minimum gap of four weeks before the commencement of days three to four and four to six.

Candidates will be required to complete a minimum of 40 hours of assisted home study, with videos and literature provided.

The course is physically demanding and a declaration of your health and fitness will be required.

Accreditation

On successful completion of the CCL1 you will be deemed qualified to provide Close Combat Self Protection Training to beginner grade students .

You will be awarded with:

ICCA Level 1 Instructor Certificate

Section 1 Level 3 Patch

L1 Instructor  T-Shirt

Civilian CCL2 Instructor Course

Level 2 Close Combat Instructor Course

To register for this course you will require all of the following:

  1. Have Successfully passed the CCL1 Course.
  2. Have been instructing for a period of 3 Months.
  3. Have a recommendation from an ICCA official.
  4. Have maintained your ICCA Instructor Membership.
Course Details

The course is set over seven days .

The course is physically demanding and a declaration of your health and fitness will be required.

You will be required to self study for a period of 40 Hours before the commencement of the course.

Accreditation

On successful completion of the CCL2 you will be deemed qualified to provide Close Combat Self Protection Training to Intermidate grade students .

You will be awarded with:

ICCA Level 2 Instructor Certificate

Section 1 Level 5 Patch

Civilian CCL3 Instructor Course

Level 3 Close Combat Instructor Course

To register for this course you will require all of the following:

  1. Have Successfully passed the CCL2 Course.
  2. Have been instructing for a period of 6 Months.
  3. Have a recommendation from an ICCA official.
  4. Have maintained your ICCA Instructor Membership.
Course Details

The course is set over seven days .

The course is physically demanding and a declaration of your health and fitness will be required.

You will be required to self study for a period of 40 Hours before the commencement of the course.

Accreditation

On successful completion of the CCL3 you will be deemed qualified to provide Close Combat Self Protection Training to advanced grade students .

You will be awarded with:

ICCA Level 3 Instructor Certificate

Licence to Wear Instructor Trousers & T-shirt

Section 2 Level 1 Patch
